Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Looking for a live out summer nanny (July and August) in SW Calgary, Alberta (close to Beltline) to keep our daughters, ages 7 and 9, busy and engaged during the day while we work. I work primarily from home so will be available as needed, but cannot give our daughters all the time and attention they need. We are looking for someone who will take them out on daily adventures: a walk or bike ride around the neighbourhood or maybe a big outing. The girls are quite bright - they love reading, math, music, and crafts. Our youngest wants to improve her crochet skills, so if you know anything about that art, please let us know. In particular though, we are looking for someone who can emphasize the fun in sports and physical activities this summer. Our ideal candidate is someone who is physically active and will create a safe and nurturing environment for our children and help with their day-to-day activities. The position requires only light housekeeping - mostly just tidying up after the kids' activities and meals, maybe some toy/book organizing or laundry if you're feeling ambitious. Our focus is on the kids, not the house! If you enjoy preparing healthy food and cooking, that is a bonus as our eldest daughter has a growing passion for cooking and would love to assist you. We have two small dogs and a cat, so we need someone who is comfortable around animals.
