Nanny in Cambridge, Ontario

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Fun loving, kind caring, dedicated passionate person. I am looking to connect with a family in the hopes of finding a child care giver role (nanny). I bet your asking why a guy would want to work as a nanny. Well I enjoy working with kids as I can't have my own and seeing them grow. I have worked with special needs children and youth for over 20 years in all aspects. I worked in the school system as an EA, child and youth worker, one to one support and my favorite doing respite care either during the evenings or on weekends where I would have my client for 24 hours or a full 48 hours on a weekend. A lot of my experiences took place while I lived in Alberta but have been working with kids since I was 20. I found a lot of enjoyment in knowing I was giving the parents a break but also making a big difference in the child's life I was taking care of. Some of my favorite things to do are baking, cooking, going for drives, coaching baseball, being a reading buddy, photography outdoors etc. The age range that I have worked with doing respite care with were from 7 to 10 years of age. Overall I don't mind working with any kids special needs or not and can take care of any other needs a house hold requires as in laundry, walking the dog, cleaning the house, vacuuming etc. Please feel free to ask any questions and will send my resume with experience on request if needed.
