I pride myself on being able to relate to both boys and girls interests and keep children entertained with multiple fun activities. I have played soccer and hockey my entire life yet I always loved playing with dolls and getting dressed up. I take the time to listen to children and understand their wants and needs. I take safety very seriously and always put the children first. I don't look at babysitting as simply entertaining children while their parents are away but rather a time to learn in a new environment and explore their surroundings. Worked with special needs children through volunteering at Special Olympics and in high school during lunch (kindergarden and older) Babysitting young children 1-4 yrs old: dinner and bed time routines. Nannying full time during summers and occasional babysitting during the school year for a 7 yr old and 10 yr old: Play time (ex. arts and crafts), preparing a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Helping with homework. Physical activities: swimming, biking and walking to the park to play. Bed time routine and cleaning up once in bed.
