I\'m Nicole, I just graduated from Mohawk College last year from the child/youth worker program. I\'m currently working at a group home as a live in child care worker with children who have behavioral difficulties and some with special needs. I\'m looking for more experience and in a different environment. I am very good at what I do and can create different programs to meet the needs of your child(ren) no matter what it is that it may be. I have many examples of programs I have implemented in the past and they have been effective. I believe in working hand in hand with the parents to make sure that things are very consistent so the children will be on the same routines with me and with the parents as well when I\'m not there. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me. I've worked in a group home since January and still presently work there. I have experience with children from ages 5-16. Some have special needs and some have behavioral problems. I'm able to work well with all age groups. I'm all about consistency and being able to follow the rules of the home. I have previous experience babysitting for a couple, they have twins. They were age 14 months to 2 years when I watched them on the regular. I also watch my nephew on occasion and he just turned 1. Some of the things that I would have to do is change diapers, dress the children, prepare meals, housekeeping, drive children to appointments or activities.
