Personal Profile: Hi host families. My name is Van. I am from Vietnam. I have been living in the US and taken care 2 kids since 2016. I have taken care a baby since she was born to 1.5 years old and a 3.5 year old toddler. I get along well with that family and I stay with them for two years. My contract with this family ends in June 2018. So I will be ready to work for you after that time. But if I can find a good match and make sure everything I can make it on time for you because I have very good relationship with my current host family and they would like to help me. Myself: I have Bachelor Degree in Viet Nam and a educated person. I am interested about science, history, geography and I love to read books about these topics. I am a positive person who like to have fun and enjoy every moment in my life. I was trained CPR and finished Early Childhood Development associate in the US. I have US diving license. I am a good swimmer. I try to eat healthy, and try to be a vegetarian. I always use water and electric as least as I can. I love nature and have good awareness at protecting the environment. I do Yoga and riding bike to keep fit. I work with kids by all my heart. Description of Skills: I used to be a tutor for many different ages. I taught basic English a Elementary school and kindergartens in Viet Nam. My passion is to learn, work and understand kids world so I can be their friends and help them grow up as best as they can in physical and mental health. I am super patient and very good at doing newborn care and toddlers. I am a good friend of them. I enjoy playing, singing, talking and helping them understand the their new world. I am comfortable working with sick children because the toddler I am taking care now has asthma and he is sick once a month. I can cook simple and healthy meals for kids. I helped my little boy use potty perfectly when he was 2. I cannot stand a messy house so I always keep the house neat and clean when I can so the kids can stay in a safe and comfortable environment. I always try to make the little people excited and busy but still strict to them. I am helpful with busy parents, I can help to cook or prepare the meals before you get home. I like to read books about kid psychology to understand them and can play, teach them well. I have have been a nanny for multiple years in Vietnam and in the US. My current host family want to keep me with them a lot but I want to travel to a new place and get new experience. I love and admire what I am doing because I am taking care your precious property that are your children. I am very cautious and attentive when I am working with kids cause I know a small mistake or inattention leads to hurtful and regretful results. Besides I always try to teach the kids as much as I can, I read a lot of books about how to educate smart and healthy kids. I know I have a great mission that is building the basic for new generation in your family and for a country. I always remind me that when I am tired so I keep being motivated and can work as best as I can. In conclusion I am not a perfect nanny but with what I have done in my job, I am confident that I am always trying to have everything well-done in my job and work by my heart.
