I am happiest when I am around children. During teaching, volunteering, coaching or babysitting, I find the days fly by, and I am never wishing for a moment to go faster. To put it plainly - I love children. I have always found it easy to establish a connection with kids; I love spending time with them, making them laugh, and playing games. For me, there is no better way to consider spending a summer. I have recently graduated from the Concurrent Education Program at Queen's University, and have had been volunteering in primary classrooms over the last 5 years,as well as completing teaching placements ranging from kindergarten through grade 8. I am extremely comfortable with children of all ages, and have experience supervising and entertaining many children simultaneously, and managing behaviour. I have also coached young children's curling, and have had years of babysitting experience.
