Individual
I am a second year student attending the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George. I am enrolled in my Bachelor of Applied Science, majoring in Environmental Engineering. I am seeking employment for the summer of 2014, May to August, preferably full time. I am a friendly, and enthusiastic person who loves children. I am responsible, reliable and adaptive. I have experience babysitting for many years, in which I was responsible for supervising children, creating activities to keep them entertained, preparing meals, cleaning and getting them to bed on time. As of January 24th, I will be volunteering two hours a week at the UNBC’s Porcupine Pal’s daycare center where I will be working with 3-5 year olds. I will be responsible for supervision, cleaning and engaging the children in various activities. From 2008-201... I was an assistant coach for the Victoria Island Hoppers Competitive Jump Rope Team. As a coach, I gained experience being around children from ages 6 to 15. I was responsible for leading activities and acting as a good role model while creating a fun and energetic atmosphere. From my experiences, I learned many skills for effective communication and how to create a safe and healthy environment. I am comfortable being around children of all ages. I look forward to talking to you and seeing if I am a perfect fit for your family! I have had a lot of experience looking after children throughout the years as a babysitter. My responsibilities included supervising children, creating activities to keep them entertained, preparing meals, cleaning and getting them to bed on time. I have looked after up to 4 children at one time ages varying from 4-9, but I most commonly looked after 2 children in that age range. I also was an Assistant Coach for the Island Hoppers Competitive Jump Rope Team for 4 years, where I gained experience being around 15-20 children with ages ranging from 6 to 16. I was responsible for leading activities and acting as a good role model while creating a fun and energetic atmosphere. As of January 24th, I will be volunteering two hours a week at the UNBC’s Porcupine Pal’s daycare center where I will be working with 3-5 year olds. I will be responsible for supervision, cleaning and engaging the children in various activities.
