I am a mother of one, who understands the love that a parent has for their child. I value the safety, nutrition, education and the need for hugs, for each and every child. I ran a registered home daycare for 5 years in Toronto and prior to that, worked in various childcare facilities. I have extensive experience with children 0-4 years old. In 2008, I received my diploma for ‘Early Childhood Education’, from Seneca College. I cook nutritious fresh lunches everyday and provide yummy snacks throughout the day. Outside time is important to me, so you will often find the children playing in the yard (weather permitting). I have a dedicated sleep space, a main room full of toys and a backyard with a grassy space and a play-ground. There is also a big park a short distance away, which is great for walks. My daycare philosophy is to keep a respectful relationship with both the parents and their children . Most of my time is spent interacting with the children, whether it be on the floor playing, circle time or teaching preparation for preschool. My disciplinary ideas are to keep a pro active effect and to re-direct conflicts. I have my ECE. I have an in home daycare. The max children I ever have is 5.
