Nanny in Mississauga, Ontario

I am a highly responsible individual who really loves what I do for a living :) I love working in an organized child care setting, but I also enjoy working as a nanny; as it allows me to work one on one with children, and bring out the absolute best in them :) I have been working with children for most of my life. When I was 14 I got my first summer job as a nanny for an extended family member. That was the summer I decided what I wanted to do with my life. All through Highschool, I did co-operative education classes that allowed me to work in the field. Both placements were in infant classrooms, with children aged 8 weeks to 18 months. In 2009 I started studying Early Childhood Education at Sheridan Collage. Through the collage, I partook in 3 more placements, two with kindergarten aged children, 4 & 5 years old & one with preschoolers aged 2.5-3.5 years old. I graduated Collage in 2010 with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and got a job right away in a daycare centre in Oakville. I was the Lead ECE in a Toddler Classroom, with 10 children aged 15-24 months, and stayed in that position for a year. From 2012-201..., I worked as a Toddler Teacher in a newly opened child care centre in Oakville with 15 children aged 16-24 months and am always looking for a new challenge! Currently, I work as a DECE for the Peel District School Board in one of their Full Day Kindergarten classes. I absolutely love working with children! it is my passion & my calling in life :)
