Hi there! My name is Emma Hughes and I am a supply teacher for DCDSB. I received my teaching degree from D’Youviple College which is located in Buffalo, New York. I absolutely love children, as they bring me so much joy! I find that it is very important to create activities for children that are fun but also educational and stimulating. I am an optimistic, kind and friendly person who believes in the importance of boosting children’s self esteem in order for them to grow academically and emotionally. Through my previous child care experience, I was expected to play with children, provide small simple meals, read to children and ensure that they are happy and having fun. I have been expected to clean while the children have been sleeping or napping which included dusting, doing dishes, sweeping, wiping counters and tables as well as cleaning windows.
