Nanny in Coquitlam, British Columbia

Dear families, I am a passionate caregiver looking to assist families as a babysitter and/or as a nanny. I am a certified Early Childhood Educator Assistant with a Montessori Certificate. I have been working in childcare for the last ten years. I perused a career in childcare, after I gained my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and finished my Master’s degree in Human Resources, as I have a natural passion for children. I strongly believe that the first few years are the most fundamental in growing amazing and successful new generations. I enjoy every moment spent in the company of children and to observe how their beautiful personality shines through their work towards their independence. As a mother of a toddler myself, I understand how important it is to nourish our children brain every single day through meaningful activities and experiences. I consider myself a very responsible, organized and energetic person but extremely affectionate and fun at the same time. I enjoy every second spent with a child and love playing with them while ensuring they receive proper care and education. As far as my experience as a nanny goes, I have been working for many amazing families in Vancouver and Toronto. Moreover, I have been working for a short period of time at a daycare centre in Coquitlam and also for Bright Horizons Nurseries in London-UK as an Assistant. All these experiences have been highly enriching and have helped me to grow professionally and personally. In addition to childcare, I really enjoy yoga, nutrition, travelling and anything related to wellness and personal growth. Some of the duties that I have performed as a nanny and as a daycare assistant are: • Supported children emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts • Provided physical and emotional care for children of all ages • Instructed children in health and personal habits such as eating, resting, and toilet habits • Planned interesting activities to help children to learn through play: reading, painting, drawing, singing and so on • Prepared healthy meals and snacks • Dressed, bathed and changed diapers • Maintained a safe and child friendly environment • Organized play dates to help children socialize with others • Went out with children to parks, play center, libraries and other activities • Participated in different activities at the play centers, pools, parks etc • Tidied up and cleaned rooms used by the children • School drop off and pick up, homework help • Other duties as required I am looking for part time and short term position as I am studying to become an ECE. Also I live in Coquitlam but I am willing to commute depending on the transportation. I speak fluent English, Spanish and Romanian.
