Hi ! First off, thank you so much for taking the time to look at my profile. As a teacher who graduated from York University's Concurrent Education Program, I have a lot of experience working with children. Through practicum placements, student teaching, volunteering, coaching, leading school clubs, working as a summer camp counsellor through York Region's Summer Institute program, and working as a Tutor in the classroom for York Region, I believe you will find my experience and qualifications very valuable. Currently, I have had my own classroom in York Region for the past 3 years as a primary, and junior teacher, and now a Special Education Resource Teacher. I am a very flexible, energetic, adaptable, and passionate young woman, who has gained a wealth of knowledge about children and their needs through my education and my various work and volunteer experiences. My diverse experiences have helped me develop as an individual creating the best possible space and experience for children. I am able to implement and create instructional games and activities based on your child's learning styles and differentiate the activities I provide based on this. I am able to provide activities that are both fun and educational which will keep your child stay active, engaged, stimulated and excited about the games/ activities and the learning that comes with it. I am able to follow the rules of the house and will implement these rules; bedtimes, snack time etc. I am more then willing to provide tutoring to your child or children if interested. I believe my many different experiences, ambition, enthusiasm, heart, and work ethic, along with my flexibility and upbeat, positive attitude will make me a great fit for your children and your family this summer, or on a by need basis. I am currently looking for part time work as I am a teacher on summer holidays, and run a small business. I am looking for short term (1 week- 6 week) work. I am available to help out during the days and/ or in evenings for you to take time to do personal errands, work, or just have a night out.
