Hello my name is Shelby. I would like to introduce myself... to start let me tell you about who I am. I am a kind and compassionate person. I always put others first. One of my most favourite things in life is making other people smile, especially children. I love kids of all ages. Whether they are the sweetest things at their best or screaming and crying at their worst. I have a natural way with kids. Children are the greatest gift to the world, they are so angelic with all the worlds wonders in their minds. They are pure innocence and that is part of the reason why I enjoy babysitting. Nothing is more heartbreaking than a child that is upset or hurt; at their age it doesn\'t make sense to them. That is why people like my exist to help with those hard times. They are the most creative and adventurous creatures which makes this job one of the best and most enjoyable even at its worst. As a child at heart I think I make a great babysitter. I also have experience babysitting 3-4 years for a family with two kids ages 4 and 6. I babysat them on an occasional basis for a few years gaining a lot of great experience in childcare as well as home making. When I was 16 I was a camp counsellor for 2 summers in a row for children ages 7-15. My responsibilities at the included organizing activities, taking on overnight camping trips, crafts and sports, monitoring diet and helping the kids when they felt homesick. I am comfortable with toddlers as well although I don\\\'t have as much paid experience with them I am comfortable and willing to learn at all opportunities.
