Hello, My name is Monique and I take great passion in working with children. I am currently attending university with the goal to become a teacher and am looking to build on my skills and gain experience doing something that one can help hard working families and two do something that I love. In working in various classroom settings I was able to develop a great foundation in working and understanding children. Thank-you I have been volunteering my time in a classroom setting from a a young age. I devoted my grade eight recesses to helping out in the kindergarten classroom..... grade 11 I co-oped in a kindergarten classroom for a semster it was an amazing experience in which I was -Planning, programming and implementing classroom activities such as games and activities; Supervise and care for children in the absence of regular caretaker; reading, instruction on math and language programs; assist with incomplete homework; assisted with parent BBQ, testing on fine, gross motor and cognitive skills; assist student to their bus routes. More recently I have been volunteering at Goodlife in the Jump daycare section in which I Work with kids 8 months-12 years old (up to 30 kids), Work on teaching the children to stay active while their moms have are given their time to workout.
