Nanny in New Westminster, British Columbia

Hello! My name is Hailey. I was born on Haida Gwaii and moved to Vancouver to pursue my career. I like to be outside and explore to what Vancouver has to offer! I am a very responsible, passionate and caring person. I know that you, the parent/parents, are giving me the responsibility to look after your child/children just like how you would. I love working with children and I know I am the person that is willing to give your child/children the love and guidance that they deserve. I am looking to work with a family that’s very close knit and that’s open to communication and allows me to help raise their children the way they want to be raised (with knowing my boundaries). When I was about 9 years old, I had volunteered after school at the Queen Charlotte Child Center where my brother attended 4 days a week. My duties were helping the instructor clean, prepare snacks, read and play games. The children between the ages of 2-4 and there were up to 7 kids at all time. Some of my responsibilities in previous nanny positions include cooking/meal preparation, cleaning, maintaining the house, helping with homework, engaging in healthy and active activities with the children, and distributing medicine when needed. I have been babysitting children since I could remember. I simply love working with children! I was lucky enough to be a private nanny for the summer of 2010 and 2011 to a wonderful 7 year old girl. After my first time being a private nanny I had gotten many offers to be a babysitter/nanny. For over two years I had looked after 7 separate children between the aged of 5-10, 7 days a week at any given time with an hour notice. My responsibilities included cooking, cleaning, maintaining the house, helping with homework, engaging in healthy and active activities with the children, and distributing medicine when needed.
