Nanny in Peterborough, Ontario

I am 24 years old and just completed my undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University! In the next couple years I will be attending teachers college to pursue my dream career of teaching in an elementary school full time. I started babysitting when I was about 15 years old and have had several jobs in that respect watching over multiple children at a time. I have also worked in different elementary schools both in coop positions and volunteering. Last summer I worked at a summer camp called Green Acres as the head supervisor of the camp's "high ropes" section (rock walls, high/low ropes courses, team building activities) where I watched over and taught children and young adults aged 3 all the way through 18. For the past year I have been working as a nanny for two different families in the Pickering area where I took care of children ages starting at 3months, 1.5 yrs, 4 yrs and 8 yrs old. These jobs also include(d) a lot of housekeeping work so I am also very experienced and efficient in that regard.I just recently moved to Peterborough and am looking for a new nanny position upon arrival. I am a trustworthy, fun-loving, smart, reliable, and 'strict-when-necessary' child care giver who would love the opportunity to spend time with your young ones to gain further experience while providing a safe, exciting, and inspiring atmosphere for them. I am passionate about things like hands on education, nature, animals, physical activity, sports of any kind, healthy eating/cooking, music, culture, art, creating, building and practicing compassion in all aspects of life. I am very active myself and enjoy practicing healthy living. I also have general first Aid and CPR training as well as my Bronze Cross in water rescue and am extremely comfortable in such elements.
