Hey there, my name is Claire. I have always felt a strong connection to children as I believe they can teach you as much as you teach them. I've got a few certifications in yoga, and a part of being a yogi is having compassion, gratitude and a level of understanding for all people. One of my passions is to teach yoga to kids as it can help them have a better understanding of self and teach patience. I have had experience with children ages 2-8 for a total of 4 years back when I lived in Calgary. I found these experiences rewarding as it taught me how to build trustworthy relationships with children, how to listen to them more carefully, and differentiate kids needs/wants. I have also worked in the restaurant business which has taught me how to react in any stressful environment. I feel this transfers into childcare by remaining a sense of calm and collectiveness when a situation arises. I am looking for someone to welcome me into their family for part time or full time. I know I can bring abundance of support, fun, happiness and love into your children lives- as well as mine! I love being outdoors and I'm up for any adventure.
