Nanny in Bradford, Ontario

My Name is Izabela and I am 27 years old. I was born in Poland and came to Canada with my family at the age of 4 and became a Canadian Citizen. I have one brother who is 30, a sister who is 28 and six years ago my parents adopted a young girl from Poland at the age of 11. My brother has two girls aged 9 and 6 and my sister has a son who is 8.  I live in an apartment with my boyfriend of four years with our one year old puppy named Ozzy. We also have a beatiful son named Lucas who is currently 10 months old.  I graduated high school with an Ontario Scholar Diploma in 2007. I worked in an after school program for children supriving them, assistanting with homework, planning activites and preparing meals. Ever since that employment I wanted to pursue a career with children and youth. In 2010 I attended Seneca College and earned a Honors Diploma in the Child and Youth Worker Program. I have worked a contract position and continue to do casual shifts at New Path Youth and Family Counseling Services as a Care and Treatment Worker with youth aged 13-18 years.  I have worked at Bradford Progress Child Care, working before and after school program with children aged 4-12. Planning activities and programs based on their interests. I have also workes in the toddler and infant room serving lunch and putting them down for nap.  I am currently at parental leave with my son. I am looking into either bringing my son with me as a nanny or having a child come to me providing educational activities and providing meals.  I have also babysat my nieces and nephew and have planned outings with them to indoor / outdoor playgrounds, Wonderland, parks, library etc. I have organized crafts and activities with them and enjoy spending quality time while keeping busy with activities. I am a child in spirit and enjoy time with children and youth of all ages.  I have strong interpersonal communication skills with other individuals and groups. I am able to deal courteously and professionally with others. I am focused, versatile, dependable, multi-task oriented, flexible, positive, emotionally stable, able to adapt effectively to challenging and emergency situations and I am able to handle confidential issues appropriately.  I enjoy cooking / baking and learning new recipes and enjoy having children and youth partake in cooking / baking with supervision as I believe it helps teach and develop life skills.
