Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hi there, my name is Katrina, and I'm currently enrolled in my second year at George Brown College. Prior to leaving my hometown for Post-Secondary Education, I spent many years babysitting and nannying for family friends/families within my community. I have always loved interacting and helping young children learn. Through the years, I have found that children and infants gravitate towards interacting with me, and when I described this finding to my mother, her response was, "because they can feel that you truly see them". Which is very true. A lot of people don't seem too interested or have the time to stop and simply smile at children or give a wave and a greeting, while out in public, but I find that almost impossible to do. From a very young age I have always been very nurturing and patient. This is why I think that finding work as a caregiver while completing my studies at George Brown would be so great. I do have classes Tuesdays-Fridays from 9am-12pm, but other than that my schedule is extremely flexible. Hope to hear from your family soon! Katrina
