I am born and raised in the Niagara Region, grew up in a loving home where I am the eldest of 3 children. My mom has always been the most amazing at home day-care provider ever. Living, growing and learning from her example I now find myself in search of a career similar. I have a diploma in special event planning, and spent some time in Toronto succeeding in that field. Soon I realized the city lifestyle was not for me, and missed being so close to my family. So, I moved home in search a more balanced lifestyle. I am an efficient, dependable, creative and resourceful worker who loves to be outside. I strive for a job that is different each day, makes life easier for others, and keeps me on my toes. I love to clean and do work that is satisfyingly beneficial. Hobbies include: DIY projects, gardening, fishing and kayaking. Working with children has always been in my lifestyle, growing up with two younger siblings I naturally gained care giving qualities. Learning from my moms wonderful mentor ship, she has owned a in-home daycare for 10 years. Children are always learning and I love those moments where you can see you've made a difference in a child's growth. Story time, crafts, ABC's, number counting, playing outside, singing songs, baking, and puzzles all are basic ways to spend a day caring for children.
