Hello! I have just completed my fourth year of Concurrent Education student at Queen's University with a Primary/Junior division focus working toward a major in History and a minor in English, and will be entering teacher's college in September. As a Concurrent Education student working toward becoming a teaching in the future, I have a passion for working with children of all ages and understand the importance of maintaining a safe and enjoyable, as well as educationally stimulating environment. I have quite a bit of prior experience working with children of various age groups and within a variety of settings through both paid and volunteer positions, including within classrooms, as a swimming instructor, and within a camp setting, as well as a range of age groups, from infancy to 14 years. From these positions I have also gained experience working with children with IEPs and other special needs. I am a certified lifeguard and swimming instructor, and have up-to-date CPR-C and AED certification. I have also taken babysitting and High-Five courses and received certifications from those as well. I have a well-written resume further detailing my past experience, as well as professional references who can attest to my compassion, responsibility and ability to both relate to and work well with children.I have a full-time daycare job for July and August, but will be available in May and June, as well as on evenings and weekends!
