Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

I absolutely love children! I have a big heart and an even bigger family (10 siblings!). I posses extensive experience with child care work. I completed my first year of education towards becoming a Child and Youth Care Practitioner at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. I received an award for maintaining a 3. 6 GPA and I am absolutely in love with the course. I learned how to interact with children in a manner that stimulates their cognitive, social/ emotional and physical development. I am extremely patient and very kind, outgoing and have a positive outlook on life. My love for family is the reason why I enrolled in Child and Youth Care at Algonquin College. I am caring, understanding, patient and very outgoing. I enjoy leading activities that will facilitate your child's growth and imagination. these activities are a great substitute for watching TV! I have worked as a live- in Nanny for 1 year. My tasks included, but, were not limited to: • Assisting with homework sign agenda • creating/ participating in games & activities • prepare meals, light snacks, school/work lunches •maintain cleanliness of home •answer door/ phone • serving guests I completed an educational placement at St. Finnans Catholic Elementary school. my responsibilities are as followed: • aid children with school work • Solve Problems/ disputes • Create games and crafts for teachers • Play & Engage appropriately with students • Monitor/ Chaperone students on sleep away trip to Toronto • Be a role model • Create educational games/ activities for students (i. e. Fraction bingo) • Grade tests and assignments I use public transportation. I could live in or out. I'm open to overnight. Currently looking for full time position 5am-11pm monday-friday
