Hello! I am a 20 year old university student studying Marine Biology at UBC. I have been babysitting for 7 years in California where I grew up. I have also worked as a camp counselor in which I was responsible for children's health and well being, but also their enjoyment and learning for a week overnight soccer camp. I have always enjoyed spending time with kids and helping them to learn and grow as individuals. I am an enthusiastic and energetic babysitter and love to get kids away from the TV or iPhone and doing crafts or playing games. I also grew up my whole life playing sports and spending time out in nature so I love to get the kids outside whenever possible. After years of childcare I have also developed a patience and understanding which aids me in connecting with kids and always providing a comfortable and open environment. I have my own car so I am available for pick up and drop off. I also am available for helping around the house cleaning, with errands, etc. I will be moving to New Zealand end of July but if you are in need of a short term nanny or a babysitter, I am your girl!
