Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hi! My name is Tessa and I am seeking a part-time nanny position in downtown Toronto. I have lots of great experience with kids. I worked as a nanny in France for a year; cooking, cleaning, and caring for a four year old and an twelve year old. We became great friends, and it was hard to leave them when I came back to Canada. I have many years experience working as a certified ski and snowboard instructor for children of varying ages. I worked as a lunch monitor at an elementary school, and I have also been a camp counselor, and was director of the camps nature program. I am currently studying Holistic Nutrition part-time at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. I am passionate about cooking healthy food that is good for us and for the environment. My big ambition is to write cookbooks for kids that focus on holistic recipes. I have a Bachelor of History, with honors from Dalhousie University, and have also taken many continuing education courses on topics including sewing, printmaking, embroidery, children's book illustration, bookbinding, and pottery. I love to read, and am constantly trying to learn new things. I genuinely really enjoy spending time with kids. It is really important to me to empathize, and make sure children feel heard and validated. I really hope to make a positive impact in their lives while also helping out their families. I have First Aid and CPR, my Food Handler's Certificate, and a valid Ontario Driver's Lisence
