Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hi, my name is Brittney Little, and I am currently in search of either a full time or part time position as a nanny during my time off from school in the summer season. I am currently employed as a Child Care Assistant at a TDSB run before school and after school program, which means that unfortunately I will not be available until the beginning of July. As I am a student studying to become a Child and Youth Worker at Centennial College, I have plenty of experience working with children. My past experience includes volunteering as a Mother's Helper, wherein I would assist the mother in taking care of her 3 children ages 1-7 after school twice a week over the course of 3 years, volunteering as a Counsellor in Training at the Birchmount Bluffs Neighbourhood Centre, in which I was trained by and assisted the staff in taking care of the children ages 3-10 during the summer season by organizing games and activities, guiding children in activities, and provide assistance in problem solving, working as a Child Care Assistant in a before school and after school program, during which I would aid the fellow staff in caring for the children by preparing afternoon snack, setting up program activities, and ensuring that each child is properly and appropriately taken care of, and last but not least, providing care as a babysitter for children ages 7 months- 10 years during my free time. As stated above, my availability for any position is anytime between the first week of July - the last week of August, due to prior engagements. Other information that should be known about me is that I do not yet have a driver's license, so any form of transportation will either have to be walking or public transit, I am certified in Standard First Aid and CPR, and have previous experience studying Early Childhood Education.
