Nanny in Cumberland, British Columbia

Hello! My name is Josie, I'm a young passionate musician/childcare worker living in Cumberland BC. I have been nannying since I was old enough to watch other children, and have consistently been working with multiple families every year since then (about 10 years). I've also volunteered at daycare programs watching large groups of children. I have always loved working with kids, helping to both give parents a much needed break, and give children a chance to connect and grow with a creative/musical confidante at their disposal every once in a while. Im currently looking for casual, freelance, or part time work in Cumberland. Im a committed and outgoing individual, very silly and creative, and I have an innate ability to help children stay on schedule and have fun at the same time! I am an excellent cook, and can easily prepare healthy meals for your child(ren) if the need arises. I have been living in Vancouver for 1 and 1/2 years, and have spent that time finding the most fun outdoor places in the city to have adventures. If we are hanging out during the day, going for a romp around in Queen elizabeth park and seeing the birds, going to the observatory, or the maritime museum, are all super brain activating and fun things to keep little minds asking questions! Since Im also a multi-instrumentalist (Tuba, trumpet, piano, vocals, drumkit, ukulele, etc.), I can integrate music into the time I spend with your children! I have a passion for the fine arts (visual, audio, and dance), and I cannot stress the importance of exposing children to as many creative mediums as possible. Music is especially important for growing minds, as it is one of the few things that actively engages both halves of the brain.
