Nanny in Whitby, Ontario

I am a former English nanny, having worked for several families in the UK. I came over to Canada to work for a family as a live-in nanny and looked after two children, a little girl, aged 6 months and a boy, aged 4 years. My duties also included light housework and some meal preparation. I really became one of the family, during the two and a half years I was there, and it was a very rewarding experience. I am currently working part-time for a family with two wonderful children aged 7 and 5 but due to a change in circumstance where the Mum will now be staying home, I am now looking for another position. Responsibilities include picking the kids up from school, taking them to the park, reading with them and helping with homework, dinner preparation, baths, and school lunch preparation. I have been with this family for almost two years. I love children and I am also a total animal lover, especially dogs. Having also worked in the corporate world, I have a strong work ethic and like to know I am making a difference. I have a wonderful daughter who is currently in Grade 11. I have a clean driving record, CPR A C certification, Police check documentation and I am also a part-time fitness instructor. Hours available - 2:00pm onwards 5 days a week or less.
