Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

My name is Heather MacDonald. I am 27 years old, and currently raising my bright, beautiful 8 year old daughter. She is enrolled in school full time from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. I have never worked professionally as a nanny, but I have extensive experience taking care of children. Not only am I a mother, but I have 5 younger siblings, and their friends, that I assisted in raising over the last 20 years. I went to college for two separate diploma programs: Police Foundations and Community and Justice Services. These programs taught me many skills that are helpful in being a responsible caregiver. I am classically trained in Royal Conservatory of Music piano, and love spending time doing activities that are music related. I possess my CPR, as well as my First Aid Certificate. I also have my G class licence, with a completely clean drivers abstract. I have no criminal record and I am eligible to work in Canada. Being a mother, and partner, I take great pride in the appearance of my home, so housework will never be an issue for me. In my spare time I love to cook. My daughter loves chicken or pasta, so we've spent many Sundays trying out different recipes, that all children will love ! I am considered punctual, reliable, attentive and extremely caring. I enjoy the outdoors, and with my daughter I have taken great joy in exploring many parks, Riverdale Farms and the many other outdoor attractions our city has to offer. The Toronto Library has also become an exciting pit-stop on our way home, or on a rainy day. I am a problem solver, so if an incident occurs, I am confident that I will be able to assess the situation in a level headed, calm manner, and solve it in the most efficient way.
