Nanny Job in Fort St. John, British Columbia

The Gibbons Family is looking for an energetic, fun and reliable Caregiver for 4 children. This is a permanent, full-time position with duties including: supervising and care of children, maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home, tending to emotional well being of children, disciplining children according to the methods requested by the parents, providing age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings, taking children to and from school, appointments and extra curricular activities, preparing nutritious meals, grocery shopping, helping with homework, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, assuming full responsibility for household in absence of parents, and caring for pets. Wage is $11.00 per hour. Must have secondary school diploma, 6 months of full-time classroom training in caregiving or 1 year of work experience as a caregiver or in a related job within last 3 years. Medical, security and criminal clearances required. Candidate must be fluent in English. Work is in our home, located in Baldonnel, a rural community 10 kilometers East of Fort St. John, BC.
