Who I Am: Hello my name is Larissa. I'm seeking employment in a wonderful family with children of absolutely any age. Ideally this position would be close to full time, but I am flexible for any family's needs if it is the right fit. I am looking for a start date that begin in July 2024 and I am only available for the summer months due to my career as a teacher. But I would happily be available to babysit occasionally during the school year afterwards for the right family. Service Abilities: I have my Bachelors of Education from UVic, graduated in 2019. I have spent the past 5 years teaching in Victoria and am looking to spend time with a lovely family this summer. I spent the past few years nannying for multiple families, as well as teaching middle school and elementary school. I am more than comfortable doing any household chores, errands, grocery shopping, cleaning, pick up/drop off, and anything else your family needs. I am comfortable caring for children of any age, I absolutely love newborns, young toddlers, and children just entering school. I would be willing to spend time with them on their school work, or tutoring them throughout the summer with my resources from my classroom. I love planning fun activities for children that are active, and educational! Cooking is one of my favourite pass times, so if your family is in need of groceries, dinner or meal prep, we would be a great fit! I prefer looking after more than one child at a time as I love being busy all day! I have my own vehicle and an up to date criminal record check. I am teaching until the end of June, but would love to connect before then and find a family to work with this summer.
