I have many years of experiences caring for children of various age groups. I began by volunteering as a kindergarten lunch monitor. From there I have only been taking on more responsibility. I acted as a volunteer camp counselor looking out for the safety of the participants and that are activities were conducted in a safe and inclusive manner. I began to volunteer as an assistant swim instructor until I got my qualifications in both first aid CPR-C, and my national lifeguarding society certification. I volunteer for approximately 3 years and have been instructing by for about 2 years. I was also acted as a babysitter throughout my high school years. Most recently I have mentored high school aged girls in figuring out which degree they would like to complete in university. I answered any questions they had a university student myself and encouraged them to reach their full potential. I also acted as a adviser for first year students as they adjusted into their new lifestyles. I enjoy exploring both the visual art world and learning more the science of the world.
