Hello my name is Laura. I am from the UK and looking for a suitable family to work with. AVAILABLE FROM NOVEMBER Experience I can bring to you; Working in a school with special education needs pupils. My role within the Special Educational Needs department saw me involved in the students daily support plans including educational, social, behavioural and personal support. Directly worked in improving behaviour to keep students focused and on task. Encouraged students to be independent within the school, to develop their confidence in class and improve their communication skills with their peers and adults. I have also worked four summers as a lifeguard at Camp Rockmont for Boys. At which saw me working in a team to supervise all waterfront activities as well as canoeing and stand up paddleboarding. Responsibilities include orienting our campers to the waterfront area, being vigilant and enforcing waterfront safety, and performing waterfront maintenance. Additionally, I engaged with campers through skills such as Swim Sports, Paddleboarding and Swim with the Lifeguards. I am comfortable with transport to and from extracurriculars, homework help, and travel support. As well as housework and pet care. I am outgoing and active, enjoying hiking and swimming.
