Nanny in Whitby, Ontario

I am a new graduate student who recently completed a year teaching in Korea. I'm moving to Alberta in January and will be available until December 2020. I have a passion for environmental, science and language education. I love working with kids, and spent the past year teaching elementary school in South Korea. It was an interesting experience to work in a completely different culture, but I discovered that kids are kids everywhere! I've previously worked as a biology instructor at a summer camp, as an outdoor educator in an after school program, and have volunteered with Focus on Nature, a photography program designed for elementary/middle school students. I've also done some online English teaching, and have prior babysitting experience. I've just returned to Canada, and would love to get to know your children. I have an outgoing personality and love being silly with kids. I'm also very responsible, and comfortable with the supervision of kids ages 3 . I'm a big believer in experiential learning and letting kid's creativity take the lead in their education. I'm a very outdoorsy person and love to hike, cycle, swim and canoe. I'm also into photography, watercolor painting, and yoga. I love animals and wouldn't mind taking care of your pets as well.
