Hi my name is Zulfa. I spent most of 2021, living with my grandparents and younger cousins aged 1, 3 and 5, in Tanzania. My responsibilities toward my cousins involved preparing meals and entertainment for them; tutoring; bathing and dressing them; making arts and crafts; playing with them them; as well as dropping off and picking them up from day care and nursery school. My favourite experience with my cousins was whenever we would have picnics on the beach and spontaneous trips to the zoo. Staying with my grandparents also meant that I had to oversee their medication and exercise routines and learn most of my grandmother's secret recipes hehe! I did this all while studying two short courses in Business and Graphic Design. Although it was not easy, I enjoyed every moment I spent with them.
