Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

I'm an
To Whom It May Concern, Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my attached information. I am seeking an employment position as Executive Nanny. As you can see from my resume I have an extensive background working with children. I encourage each child to reach their full potential physically, mentally, emotionally and socially through challenging and stimulating activities indoors and outdoors. I encourage self-reliance, self-confidence and cooperation within reasonable and consistent limits, meeting the unique needs of each child. I enjoy teaching children the importance of being respectful and taking care of their belongings while they are learning to clean up their messes. I would be pleased to be a nanny/assistant to you as well. I can work all shifts including night shifts caring for young children (feeding, soothing infants) so parents can obtain a full nights rest. I'm easily able to complete duties and interchange them at any moment. I can assist in the office and home, organizing clutter. I am a very detailed, thorough cleaner using “earth friendly” cleaning products and clean top to bottom, indoors and outdoors. I can ensure that laundry is washed, dried, folded and put away. I enjoy running errands to any location, (i.e. border pick ups, dry cleaning, sending and picking up mail). During grocery shopping trips I don't mind shopping at numerous farmers markets and organic stores for the freshest produce for your family. Also, if you choose a recipe for dinner, I would ensure that all ingredients are shopped for, cleaned and prep work is complete. I enjoy preparing healthy, creative meals and daily snacks and transport children to daily activities. I currently posses a class 5 license. My passion is gardening and I enjoy trimming, raking, planting and maintaining your gardens. My work history also includes 12 years of security work. I have studied security and excelled to supervisor and management positions. I can prepare all household items to be photographed, documented on disk and have items appraised for insurance purposes. I am extremely detail oriented and very calm under high pressure. I have a great ability to be fully aware of your child's locations when out in public and I will protect them in any situation. I can travel internationally with your family as my passport is up to date. I would be pleased to review my qualifications in more detail during an interview with you. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call me or email me. Sincerely, Rachel Hopkin R.E.C.E Obtained over 850 practical and hands on experience in the following child care centers, Today's Family Daycare, Kid's World Daycare, St.David's Nursery co-op, and Niagara College Daycare.
