Nanny in Markham, Ontario

I'm an
Individual
Hi! I'm so glad you've come across my profile. I would appreciate it if you took the time to read about me, my qualifications, and how I can be the perfect person to provide the best care to your child or children and become their ideal nanny. At 21, I've known from a young age that I wanted a career in childcare or teaching. As a result of this desire, I have dedicated most of my education and life to improving my capabilities to become a teacher. Since children are our future, my goal, as someone dedicated to making a positive impact on a child's life, is to show that even one person can significantly influence a child's emotional and mental growth. I strongly believe this since I was fortunate to have had an extraordinary nanny during my childhood who had a lasting positive impact on my life. Being young, my perspective on childcare and nannying might differ from others. For me, it's all about helping the child discover more about themselves, aiding their growth and development, and encouraging them to become the best versions of themselves. I can assure you that your child or children will receive my full, undivided attention. Through my distinctive approach to nannying, I love encouraging kids to try new things, from foods and activities to breaking out of old patterns. I'll dedicate my time with them to understanding their unique personalities, which I'll then reinforce positively. My aim is to be someone you and your children will remember fondly for a long time. I'm here for you and them. - Before going to university I would babysit in my free-time during high-school as well as elementary school. I worked with 5 families with a total of 15 kids total across the families. I was a mothers helper for a family friend's children in grade 8. I have been gaining experience from a very young age. - I go to Queens University for teaching with a degree in sociology and psychology. focusing on child studies - I also am in the process of doing my RECE (registered early educator licence) at SLC (Saint Lawrence College) while still in university. - Love n Learn Daycare: I worked as an ECA (early childcare educator) in multiple classrooms from May until September. I worked with children ranging in ages from infants to preschoolers. I worked very closely with children with behavioural issues, children with special needs, and children that needed of crucial attention throughout the day. I occasionally helped in the kitchen where we would cook homemade meals for the kids (breakfast, lunch, and snack) - Country Casa Daycare: Same as above I worked with a classroom of 25 (3-4 year olds) duties included teaching and implementing lessons, changing diapers and toilet training, giving out breakfast, lunch, snack. Nap-time was two hours which included putting the kids to bed and helping them sleep. We did crafts, many hands on activities, outside time, etc. I still stay in close contact with some of the parents of my kids I taught and occasionally babysit. I am reliable and dedicated to the childcare needs of your family. My rate is $25.00 an hour and references can be provided upon request. If you are interested in my services, please don't hesitate to message me. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
