I have been babysitting since I was 14 and since then I have found a genuine passion for working with children. I continued to work as a camp counsellor and volunteer in TDSB classrooms! Working with children is something I want to do long term and it has become a huge part of my life. I am currently working at a children's after school program week days but am available in the evenings and weekends. After travelling parts of south east Asia and Europe the last few months, I am happy to be home and am looking for occasional babysitting jobs! Highlights of my qualifications include: Maintaining a positive environment with children Guiding children with good habits of eating, dressing and hygiene Assisting with homework and reading Focusing on the emotional well being of each child. Identify any difficulties in children’s development or behaviour Help the teacher prepare daily lesson plans Manage the daily activities between 15-20 students I have my Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Training, and my Standard First Aid and CPR Level C/AED certificate.
