Hello parents! My name is Drew and I am currently studying Veterinary Technology at St. Lawrence College. Though my program keeps me pretty busy, I do often need a break from academics, and I love caring for children! I believe caring for children will give me the perfect break I need, and your children will benefit. I have provided services for many previous families, including "problem children" that hard a hard time keeping a sitter. Parents loved coming home to a clean house and tuckered out tots! I have my own vehicle, so day trips and outings will definitely be in our itineraries, but as a scholar myself, I know the importance of finishing projects and homework prior to playtime. My inspiration for seeking employment as a childcare attendant is my 6 year old cousin, Maddie. Her and I are like two peas in a pod- all summer (when she is not busy learning in SK), we go on day trips. She loves when I take her horseback riding, or to the park. We paint, play board games, and pretend all day long. I enjoy every minute spent with her, and children have such a unique perspective on the world that I think many can learn from. Though I am busy with school, I can assure you I will be a committed and punctual attendant. I thrive on a busy schedule and staying active, which I will bring to the table when caring for your children (tired tots are happy tots- and parents!). I do have classes which need to be accommodated, but I am free most evenings and weekends (for those Saturdays when Mum and Dad just want to get groceries in peace!).
