Nanny in Victoria, British Columbia

Hi! I'm Kaitlyn, a live-out nanny in Victoria, British Columbia looking for a part-time position with a family in need of childcare this summer. I am available from July 1 - August 30, 2024, as I will return to full-time teaching in September. Occasional availability is possible after August 30 on evenings or weekends. I specialize in caring for toddlers and primary school aged children, including children with exceptionalities. I am currently a nanny in Nanaimo BC for children ages one, two and four and can provide references upon request. I have a background in childcare and preschool (ECEA), and I am an elementary school teacher with 7 years of experience in the public school system in Victoria. I have both my bachelor's and master's degree in education and specialize in inclusive practices, childhood psychology and specialized support needs. I am excited to leverage my background in inclusive education to provide a nurturing and enriching environment for children in my care. I am committed to promoting holistic growth and fostering a positive atmosphere where children can thrive. I'm passionate about helping children develop skills, explore the world around them and grow into their own person, while creating a safe, secure and nurturing environment.
