Nanny in Owen Sound, Ontario

Who I Am: I am a Bachelor of Education Student with a Hons degree in Early Childhood Education looking for possible employment. Where I am: I am located just outside Owen Sound in the village of Chatsworth. My experience includes a lot of working with the community, supporting children and their families. My previous summer employment was with the YMCA summer program in Port Elgin ON. In this role, I was responsible for leading and planning activities, telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and providing opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity. My customer service skills are strong, and I have established experience with teamwork and problem-solving in a busy customer environment. I’m not new to the Owen Sound community as I have been involved with many productions on stage and behind the scenes at the Owen Sound Roxy Theatre, as well as volunteering throughout the community.
