Nanny in North Vancouver, British Columbia

I have been a part time nanny for two years now for two sets of wonderful school-age kids. I would have love to continue in my previous role (they asked me to) but they ended up moving out of the country. My first role ended because grandma moved in. In addition I provide counselling to troubled kids on a volunteer basis. I was a tutor for school age children for a few years and also employed by the West Vancouver Education Academy organizing the children's library etc. My main experience, is being a single mom, in raising my daughter (with high needs) Haven't you found that it is not only our children who learn and grow, but us as parents as well? Mothering has caused me to be tested. I have grown leaps and bounds in standing my ground, staying calm under pressure and growing in patience. I will treat your kids as though they are my own.
