Hi there! I am Clio, located in the N6A postal code area, and looking to help your children continue to flourish and grow during this time of physical distancing. I've obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Toronto (June 2020). I intend to continue on with my studies to become a Communicative Disorders Assistnat to help Speech Therapists and Audiologists. I am prepared to help your family as your babysitter on Tues/Wed evenings or weekends. Over the past 4 years, I have worked with children as an Early Childhood Assistant, and worked directly under Early Childhood Educators in drop-in programs serving diverse families of different cultural backgrounds, socioeconomics status, LGBTQ , and with many children needing a liiiiittle extra special attention and care (behaviourally, developmentally, physically, etc.). Prior to COVID, I was employed at a Toronto EarlyON servicing families with children under the age of 6. I also happen to be learning American Sign Language and am happy to incorporate its use with your child(ren) if you so desire! I love to play (from beading bracelets to playing floor hockey), to teach (I have experience teaching reading specifically at the preschool and elementary level), and to sing and dance (everyone loves to shake their sillies out!).
