I am Shanta Thapa 42 years old lady from western part of Nepal which is known as Kohalpur. ... km away from Kathmandu city. I have been working with children last 26 years as an early child education teacher. I have well experience of child care giver and old age care giver. SOS children village organization is for vulnerable children and family as well. I am very proud to say that I had grown up in SOS children village and working in this organization which has works for children and woman. This organization has built up my capacity better, makes strength stronger and developed my carrier. No doubt that every day is my learning phase and being always as a new day. I learn many more things that had handling in every situation and perform at any time to complete my duties and responsibility. Wherever i do , i drown on the knowledge and skill that have built up in my working area. At the time of my working i built on my existing strength to develop my carrier. I would always be happy to work with children for their well development and with old people for good company as well care. In my opinion, old people has to well care as more than as good company is one the best medicine. I am handling and counseling to the old vulnerable parents through community base programmer. I used to go for home visit to check the condition of old people about their health and hygienic. I got married in very big family. My family belongs to farmer and responsible persons are uneducated except me and my husband. My mother-in-law was very old and cancer diseases patient. I had to take care of her because I am only one educated and job holder daughter-in-law at home.I used to take care of her every things (medicine schedule and food as well). After her death i used to go old home age care center which is organized by SOS children village . They all are our organization's retired mothers. I was grown up with the hand of their protection. Now i have the key of responsibility to care of them. They are very old and sick patient. At the time of my holiday i used to go for their care and every help that have needed. If i got the chance to carry on my duties i will perform fully and sincerely doing the job and responsibility. As I am a early child care education teacher , as a counselor and as caregiver i will satisfy to reach of your expectations.I hope to get chance to perform in my ability.
