Hey families! 👋 I’m Jayde, a 24 year old Registered Nurse from Melbourne, Australia moving over to Whistler in January. I have been working as a support worker and babysitter in Melbourne for the past 3 years whilst studying my degree at Uni. I have also worked within 3 hospitals for the duration of my degree, currently at The Royal Children’s Hospital on the Neurological/Surgical Ward. I also have experience volunteering within a school, working as a children’s party host, hosting school holiday programs and working as a swim teacher with children aged between 3-16 years. I love working with children and I’m passionate about their development. Within my roles, I have organised activities, assisted with self-care, food preparation, completed household tasks, and offered emotional/behavioural support whilst forming strong relationships. I am passionate about enhancing, educating, and assisting individuals in all aspects of their lives. My hobbies include going to the gym, playing piano, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my friends, and family. I love getting to know new people and look forward to expanding my work. I have my IEC visa and Working with Children’s Check completed. My hourly rate is $18.0 and I'm available to provide live in or out care.
