About Me:
Hello my name is Emily! A bit about me.. In April of 2022 I decided to open an home daycare which was very successful and ran until September 2022 until my landlord sold my house which forced me to move and shut down my home daycare sadly. Previous to that I worked from 2018 and all throughout the pandemic in the community as personal care worker! My dream is to reopen another home daycare when I own my own home but until then I'm hoping to find a live out nannying opportunity. I am highly experienced. I have an impressive variety of experience ranging from infants to elderly from low needs to high needs. I’ve been working with infants and children specifically since I was 13 years old from neighborhood babysitting to after school program volunteering to elementary school classroom placements and more!

I have experience with personal care, overnight care, meds, respite care, homework help, house cleaning and swimming supervision and so much more. On top of this, I have my drivers license but currently no vehicle as it broke down during my move.

Emily had worked for my sister as her nanny. She watched 4 children, from ages 2 to 8. The 2 older boys, had ADHD and one undiagnosed autism disorder at that time (has since been diagnosed). These two of the 4, were not easy children to get to bed and relied on a steady schedule. Emily was amazing with them. She was understanding and patient and got even the oldest, my autistic nephew, to bed! (at this time, it was very hard to convince him if you weren't his mother, to go to bed.) The children loved her and would often ask to have her come over even when we didn't need her for the day!

She provided a safe play time, prepared meals amd did house hold chores for us.
