Nanny in Etobicoke, Ontario

Hello. My name is Debra. I am looking for employment as a Child Caregiver. I am a mother of 2 adult children and a grandmother of 2 young school-aged grandchildren. In case you have pets, please note that I myself have 2 dogs and a cat and I would be very comfortable looking after your pets alongside your children. A little more about myself: I worked F/T for 25 yrs in Communications then F/T for 10 yrs as a Driver in Trades. In the past 2 years I’ve assisted 2 families with Childcare: I looked after a little boy from age 2 1/2 yrs to 4 1/2 yrs, initially at his home from 3pm-6pm, then once he began kindergarten from bus p/u to 6pm. Since one of the parents was recently released from his employment the family is now able to manage the childcare on their own. During that same period and for 6 months I assisted another family doing daily pick-ups and drop-offs of their 2 girls in nursery school and kindergarten. Now that both sisters are finally attending the same school they are now enjoying taking the school bus together. Presently I am looking for either temporary F/T or regular P/T work and at this time I might also be available for some evenings and weekends.
