Dear parents, My name is Yessica but I like to be called Yessi. I am a person who loves being with kids, I consider myself a compassionate, sensitive and empathic person, abilities that have helped me to connect with children during the last 7 years. I really like to spend time with kids and not just teach them new things, I think they have a lot to offer and teach us (adults) things that sometimes we forget. For me is very important to transcend in the life of the kids that I am working with, one of my goals is always give the best of me and that is one of the most satisfying feelings for me when I see that I did something good in the the life of someone. I enjoy investing time in activities that encourage kids to be healthy, safe, and if I can help in the academic area I love to plan fun activities and games. (young kids) I am from Mexico and I recently moved to Canada because my husband lives here. I am an Elementary teacher and I used to work in an English private school in Monterrey, Mexico as a homeroom teacher of first grade.I also speak Spanish as is my native language. My experience with kids started 7 years ago when I worked in a Kindergarden in Monterrey as a Teacher Assistant. After that I worked with older kids in third grade for 4 years, I taught all the subjects in English. The last two years I worked in first grade teaching all the subjects in English, As a teacher I was always responsable of the kids to be safe and also learn, what they eat, and feel happy at school. While studying the university I used to baby sister the kids of my neighbors once in a while, feed them, get them ready to bed, play together boardgames, check homework, activities outdoors.
