Hi there :) My name is Alexia! I am a 22 year old student studying 911 Emergency and Call Centre Communications at Durham College. I have always had a passion for mental health and helping others through crisis situations. I am a very social, adventurous and outgoing person who has extensive experience in child care, swim instructing, working with special needs and responding to emergency situations. I have babysat for children of all ages with various intellectual and physical disabilities, and am CPR-C and Standard First Aid certified. I also have certifications in Public Safety Telecommunications, Fire Service Communications and Situational Awareness. I thoroughly enjoy building relationships with children and their family, and am highly adaptable when catering to each child and their own personalities and needs. I am also able to assist your child with schoolwork (>grade 10 level), and am especially skilled in English, reading and writing. I maintain a 4.8 GPA at Durham College.
