To my future family, hello! I'm Britney, and I'm eager to offer my services as a childcare provider or babysitter, either part-time or full-time, from March 2024 to July 2024 (with the possibility of extending). My passion for caring for children is deeply rooted in the joy I feel when I'm around them. Connecting with kids comes naturally to me, as I effortlessly tap into my "inner child" to build meaningful connections with each child I meet. My journey in childcare started as an Early Childhood Assistant at a licensed daycare center in Toronto, where I cared for babies, toddlers, and older children aged 4 to 10. I also gained valuable experience at two daycares in Montreal, and even had the pleasure of working with some wonderful families during my time there. Prior to relocating from my home in the Caribbean to Canada, I worked as a primary school teacher, instructing children aged 4 to 12 in basic French and Spanish. My warm and nurturing nature has consistently allowed me to become a trusted friend, a comforting sibling figure, an enthusiastic playmate, and even a cherished "auntie" to many of the children I've cared for and taught. Overall, I find immense fulfillment in working with children, and I've learned invaluable lessons from each unique individual.
