It is a pleasure to meet you! A little bit about me: My name is Cassandra and I am 23 years old. I'm currently studying Linguistics at the University of Western Ontario, where I will graduate this spring with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. I hope to pursue a career in Speech-Language Pathology where I can exercise my desire for helping others; children in particular. Throughout my academic career, I have worked with a variety of not-for-profit organizations, developing a strong desire and passion for helping others. I am involved in a multitude of different extracurricular activities, many of which are related to health and fitness. On top of this, I have spent countless hours working alongside a registered Speech-Language Pathologist in order to prepare for my future career. This volunteering experience involved working alongside young children and adults who required speech therapy. What can I do for you? ~ I am highly flexible and adaptable when dealing with individuals of all needs and I believe I would be a great fit for you and your family. I am patient, kind, organized, outgoing, and enthusiastic. Ideally, I am looking to fulfill a nanny role with part-time hours (15-20 hours/wk). I am incredibly comfortable with reading books, school/daycare pick-up and drop-off, night-time routine, grocery shopping, tutoring, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I have more than five years of experience working with young children: my volunteer work in the community, previous nanny jobs, and my soccer coach position over the years has provided me with the skills necessary to deal with sensitive matters in a timely and calm manner.
